Dani Marano is an artist living and creating on Dja Dja Wurrung country/ Castlemaine in Regional Victoria.

Her love of the hand-touched, the toiling of land and nature, and the intrinsic beauty of natural elements underpin her image-making practice, floral styling, and work and life more broadly.

Dani is passionate about collaborating with local businesses and projects - exploring her intertwining creative practices as they connect her with the country she lives on, and the local community of Regional Victoria.

In her image-making practice, Dani scours and collects printed materials including thrifted books, printed artworks and archival material to create rich and layered collages.

This practice is slow and intentional, manifesting in moments of quiet contemplation and isolation. Meticulously hand-cut and assembled, the outcomes are surreal windows into the mind of the artist, and invite viewers to explore unexpected vistas.

Dani brings this hand-touched and meticulous ethos to her practice of floral styling. In 2022, Dani graduated from Melbourne Polytechnic with a Certificate III in Floristry. She holds 3 years of experience working with some of Regional Victoria’s best farmers and florists across speciality flower growing, high-end floral design and event-based floristry.

Dani is passionate about regional and ethical floral produce and enjoys working on photoshoots, small-scale regional projects and in-house floral design for hospitality and service industry venues.
